Self Storage Space Estimator
The Self Storage Space Estimator is used to help select the right size storage unit for you.
The term Cube used in the Self Storage Space Estimator is the cubic feet that an article will normally occupy.
In an effort to help you determine what space size you need, inventory your goods, and simply follow the steps below.
● Fill in the number of each article stored.
● Multiply the number of each article by the cube number.
● Put the answer in the Total Cube column.
● Add the total number of cubic feet for all columns.
● Refer to the chart below and pick the right space size for you!
You may enter your numbers (number of each article and total cube number) into the text fields provided and then print the Self Storage Space Estimator, or you may print it out, then fill it in.
(This calculation assumes your articles are fully stackable. Somewhat more space may be required for aisles to permit access to all items.)
